My goal is simple: help people understand what may be present in their property before they disturb, remove, renovate, or remediate building materials. Environmental hazards are not always visible. Mold can develop behind building materials after water damage, asbestos may be present in older construction materials, and lead-based paint may exist beneath newer layers of paint. Proper testing provides important information before decisions are made.

How I Help Property Owners
Every property and situation is different. I begin by understanding the client’s concern and the areas of the property that may be affected. Depending on the requested inspection and applicable requirements, I visually evaluate the area, identify suspect materials or environmental conditions, determine appropriate sampling locations, carefully collect representative samples, document the inspection, and submit applicable samples to a qualified laboratory for analysis.
The laboratory results provide objective information that can help determine the appropriate next step. I also help clients understand what the results mean in clear, practical language rather than simply handing them a laboratory report filled with technical terminology.
This can be especially important before demolition, renovation, water-damage restoration, mold remediation, property purchases, tenant turnover, or other work that could disturb potentially hazardous materials.
Why Prime Environmental NJ LLC Focuses on Testing — Not Removal
One of the most important principles of our business is maintaining a clear separation between environmental testing and remediation/removal work.
Prime Environmental NJ LLC primarily operates as an independent testing and inspection company. We identify, inspect, sample, document, and report environmental conditions. We do not use a positive laboratory result as an opportunity to sell the client removal work.
This separation helps avoid a potential conflict of interest. When the same company that performs the testing also profits from finding a problem and performing the cleanup, clients may reasonably question whether the recommendations are completely independent.
Our role is different.
We test. The laboratory analyzes. The results provide the evidence.
When remediation or regulated removal is necessary, the property owner can select an appropriately qualified or licensed remediation/abatement contractor for that work. After the work is completed, independent post-remediation or clearance testing may be performed when appropriate.
This approach allows us to remain focused on what matters most: accurate testing, professional documentation, reliable laboratory results, and helping our clients make informed decisions about their property.
